GUARANTEED WAYS TO GROW  A BLOG

Blogging of a thing has grown so wide that there are millions of blog been created everyday, most new bloggers won’t know what to do to grow their blogs or blog.

Blogosphere is a very big place to be, most bloggers won’t know how to attract visitors to their blog, that's why in this article i wrote about some necessary tips that bloggers need  to grow their blogs.

note: that each and everything i wrote in this article is very relevant in getting your blog popular

Follow this step by step to grow your blog’s audience and make it stand out of the crowd

1     1.   SUBMIT YOUR BLOG TO SEARCH ENGINES

This was the first thing i failed to do when i created my first blog in the year 2006, i created to blog hoping to generate good amount of traffic over night without working to get traffic even without submitting my site to any search engine                                                                                                                   if you want to suceed in blogging and make your blog stand out of the crowd, then you must submit your site or blog to search engines. Checkout  how you can add your site to google  or you can submit your site to bing and yahoo doing this wil give you a way ahead your competitors there are many more search engines you can submit your  site to, you might want to check out the top search engines

Less i forget submitting your site to search engines doesn’t mean your site will appear in google top search results, but by submitting your site you are telling and giving search engines an oppurtunity to notice  your blog and index your post.

2.   2.     GOOD CONTENT

You need to write well in order to get good traffic and make your blog  readers comfortable, remember  that your blog readers are human so write your articles in a way that it will help people solve their problems, write your article with passion doing this will make your blog readers know that you are writting  on a topic  that  you know much or little about and they will be convinced that your are doing a great job.

3.   3.     BLOG UPDATES

Always update your blog, blog updating is another way to keep your blog alive because a blog that has same post on his homepage for about 3-4 days  is almost good as an almost dead blog, because most readers will decline during these time, some might have read all the posts in your blog and they are waiting for new posts, so if you don’t want to loose your blog readers then you must post and update your blog frequently  to keep your current readers and even get more .

4.     4.   COMMENTS

Commenting on other blogs related to your topic is another great way to increase the traffic coming to your blog, so today am going to talk about two types of comments                                                             there are two types of comment you can use to grow your blog traffic 

1)      Comment on other blogs

You should comment on other blogs related to your blog niche or keyword and don’t be a coment spammer after commenting on anyblog make sure you leave a link back to your blog this way readers of that blog can click your link to visit your blog.

2)      Respond to your blog comments

If you notice a reader that make’s a comment on any blog that reader will be sure to check back for a reply,by  replying to comments you are engaging your visitors into becoming  your parmanent blog readers. So a blogger that replies to his readers comment will have an oppurtunity of getting more parmanent blog readers.

5.     5.   Submit your post to bookmarking sites

Aside search  traffic from search engines traffic social bookmarking site is another way to drive traffic to your blog and posts you can use digg, diigo or blogengage check out  top bookmarking sites this is another easy way to drive traffic to your blog

6.     6.   Email subscription

Make sure you set up an rss feed  or an email subscription platform for your blog  to email your blog readers to get latest updates about your blog in theri email

7.       7. Images

You should always add images to your blog post,most especially  images that are relevant to your post because some users often use image search  in search engines.

8.    8.    Guest post

Guest post can be defined or described as a method of writting an article on a well established blog to drive traffic to your blog, you need to guest post on blogs that have blog authority,page rank,backlinks and you can use some other factors to consider yours                                                                                   write guest post on other blogs that has been there before your blog and leave  a link back to your blog, write on a blog that has a higher page rank than yours, you should only guest post on blogs that has page rank 1 upward, all your guest post should be on a well established blog

9.     9.   Offline promotion

Offline promotion is another way to promote a blog , this can be defined as mouth to mouth promotion you can add your blog url to an email or to your own complementary card, tell your friends or anyone about your blog be doing this you are exposing your blog to the world

10.  10  Forum promotion
